MN Consumers First Alliance Cheers Vote on Sunday Sales

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Following today’s 85-45 vote in the Minnesota House of Representatives to allow Sunday sales of wine, beer and spirits in retail stores, the MN Consumers First Alliance issued the following statement:

“Today’s vote is a huge victory for the majority of consumers across Minnesota who overwhelmingly support Sunday sales, and we want to thank those House members who voted to allow the sale of beer, wine and spirits on Sundays. Thousands of consumers took the time to contact their legislators urging an end to the state’s outdated prohibition against Sunday sales. Thanks to these efforts, and the majority of House members who sided with consumers, this measure has passed the House for the first time ever. This historic vote takes us one step closer to finally allowing Sunday sales in Minnesota. We will now carry our momentum forward in the Senate.”
